Mobiles

The mobiles presented here represent maquettes (models) and finished works. They are created from a variety of media: cardboard, balsa wood, found objects, and aluminum rods; steel rods, sheet aluminum, glass beads, and stone. Some elements are painted and others are the color of the material from which they are made.

The mobiles may be suited for a variety of spaces “as-is” including homes and offices or serve as models and ideas for businesses, indoor public gathering spaces, and other architectural settings.

If you would like to talk to Richard Pumphrey about using a maquette as an idea for your domestic or professional space or engage in a conversation about a new concept for your needs, please click the CONTACT link to the left of the home page about beginning the process of having a mobile made for you.
